![]() From a young age I have been intrigued by the interplay of light and shadow, color and contrast, the texture of a leaf or the forms contained on a mountain side. In my teen years this interest lead me to photography. I believe that while most people look at the world, a photographer sees the world around him. And sometimes the photographer sees the world, not as it is but as it was meant to be, catching a glimpse of the beauty that may be hidden to others. For me, seeing the photograph is just the beginning of the creative process. A photograph should represent a moment in time, capturing and containing it completely. If successful, this captured moment may then shared with others, allowing them to experience what I have seen. I use traditional and alternative photographic techniques as well as digital treatment to create a complete image. The images here represent some of my favorites. It is my sincere hope that you will enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy sharing them. Feel free to provide comments, critiques or constructive criticism of anything posted here.
If you find a photograph that you especially enjoy, please let me know. One of the great possibilities of the web is it's ability to connect kindred spirits.
